Artifact 1: Letter of Recommendation

This letter reflects my ability to mentor students and support their long-term growth while maintaining high professional standards. In this recommendation, I specifically articulated how the student demonstrated growth in professionalism and dependability while executing a complex dorm trip for 80 residents. By highlighting their unique blend of empathy and creativity, I advocated for their future opportunities while demonstrating my own ability to cultivate deep, meaningful connections as a leader in student affairs.

This document represents my ability to work with a diverse group of student affairs professionals highlighting my commitment to excellence and dedication to student affairs work and the theory behind it.

Artifact 3: Happy Friday Email

This artifact demonstrates my leadership within a large, diverse team to execute high-impact, university-wide programming. By coordinating with multiple departments for the Winter Student Involvement Fair, I helped facilitate an event that engaged over 1,500 students. This showcases my ability to manage complex logistics and cross-departmental communication to foster a sense of belonging and engagement within the broader campus community.

Artifact 4: NACA Live Expense Breakdown

This detailed expense breakdown illustrates my commitment to fiscal responsibility and the ethical stewardship of student funds. I managed complex financial logistics, including per diems, hotel fees, and reimbursements for multiple team members during a professional conference. This artifact serves as evidence of my organizational skills and my ability to navigate university financial systems to support student and staff development.

This document represents my ability to work within a university environment contributing to departmental goals, strategic management, planning, and communication skills. Demonstrates how I lead a team, set agendas, and track attendance for a meeting I facilitated and group collaboration on note-taking.

Artifact 6: Late Nite Nite Owl Studios Agenda

This training scenario demonstrates my ability to design developmental learning experiences that bridge the gap between student and employee roles. I created a "Think Tank" exercise that challenged student staff to navigate real-world crises—such as technical failures and fire marshal regulations—while maintaining professional standards and a positive guest experience. This approach allowed staff to practice critical thinking and proactive problem-solving, better preparing them for the complexities of event management.

This document represents my ability to supervise and foresee training opportunities for student staff and the complex understanding of university/departmental structures through the coordination of student employee training.

This document represents my contributions to departmental decisions and thoughtful planning towards change to align with goals and objectives. This document in particular displays a work group focused on combining two student positions by Fall 26.

Artifact 9: IUSTV Event Collaboration

This outreach to IUSTV highlights my ability to initiate strategic, cross-departmental collaborations that enhance program impact. By connecting Student Life with the Media School for a "Fandom Fusion" expo, I led efforts to create a professional-grade live broadcast partnership. This demonstrates my skill in communicating across academic and administrative silos to leverage university resources for more robust student programming.

Artifact 10: Grad Photo at Association of Black Culture Centers

My attendance at the Association of Black Culture Centers conference represents the beginning of my long-term commitment to professional development in the field of student affairs. Engaging with this national community allowed me to explore theories of cultural competence and inclusive leadership, which I directly applied to my work on campus. This experience helped shape my professional identity as a practitioner dedicated to supporting diverse student populations and staying current with industry best practices.
