My ProDevo Plan
In Spring of 2023, I attended Indiana Universities Leadershape Institute and I identified my 5 lifelong goals. Education, Innovation, Integrity, Prestige, and Relationships. My approach to student affairs is guided by a commitment to Innovation and Prestige as a standard for creating premium, high-quality experiences for students. My value on Education drives my mentality to reach for the stars and my commitment to lifelong learning ensuring that every program is a step toward a larger goal both personally and for the success of my student population.
As I move from a graduate assistant to a student programming professional it is my intention to continue carrying these values with me. Having engaged with ABCC, NACA Live, and ACUI, I am prepared to leverage these national networks to bring cutting-edge student programming to my next role. Every experience is another step towards reaching our goals and I embody that in my everyday life. Throughout my student employment experiences and my graduate paraprofessional career, I have gained much experience in the different competency areas identified by ACPA/NASPA. Using these competencies I have developed some short-term goals (1-3 years) and long-term goals (4+ years) to drive my professional career.
